A Few of our Favorite Paris Spots
As we think of the Paris experience, we can’t help but imagine coffee shops, a vibrant metropolis, and a plethora of must do sights, museums and galleries. Whether a Paris pro or first time visitor, there’s nothing quite like a few days in Paris! We know you know all the usual spots to check out (Eiffel Tower and Louvre as starters), so we wanted to add a few of our must-dos when there, that may be a little more off the beaten path.
- A Walk in Montmartre
So yes, there are the stairs and visiting Sacré-Cœur, which is on every must do visitor list, but have you taken the time to wander through the streets around and behind the basilica? The streets are charming as they wind through the neighborhood known for its bohemian atmosphere and artistic heritage. Stop at a quaint restaurant or coffee shop and take in the wonderful foot traffic sights – a piece of advice you could apply to any corner in the city for that matter! - Coulée Verte René-Dumont (formerly Promenade Plantée)
Need some fresh air to break up your meetings, or want to get outside for a walking meeting? Great! Escape the hustle of the city by strolling along this elevated park built on an old railway viaduct. Located in the 12th arrondissement, a notable distance from the event but well worth the trip, the park offers a quiet oasis with lush greenery, beautiful gardens, serene pathways, Parisian architecture, and unexpected panoramic views of Paris. Think of it as the French lavish version of New York’s High Line. And for those dog lovers, you’re sure to see some fancy French pups in attendance! - Le Hide restaurant
Everyone has their favorite Paris dining spot, or can easily stumble upon a great cafe on any given corner, but if you’re looking to try something new, this cozy, personal favorite restaurant is well worth the visit. Self-described as ‘the Frenchy-Japan spirit’, Le Hide offers local French cuisine ‘orchestrated by The most Parisisan of the Japanese Chef Hide Kobayashi’. To say there is a plethora of flavors and quality is an understatement! A 15 minute walk from the Hyatt, and found on a quiet street near the Arc de Triomphe, you’ll find the room with rustic dark wood seating and walls, perfect for those evening meetings and team catch ups. We were lucky enough to be introduced to this spot and are happy to share this gem with you. Le Hide Website, address: 10 rue du General-Lanrezac. If you go, let us know, we’d love to hear how you enjoyed it!
We wish you a wonderful Summit experience, meaningful conversations and learnings, and a chance to take in the host city as time allows.
Make sure to book a meeting with us and confirm your karaoke seat.
See you in Paris, Friends!
